The company was founded under the name Drusch et Co in France in 1955. In 1958 the company was published in the commercial register and started its business activities. Later the firm was changed into Drusch et Cie. As subsidiary DRUSCH GmbH was established in Landau/Germany in 1981 and transferred 1990 to Hannover. Since August 1999 DRUSCH GmbH has its principal office in Hanstedt, located in the north of the Lüneburger Heide, nearby the city of Hamburg.

After the vanishing of Drusch et Cie in France, DRUSCH GmbH works since 1994 as an independent company, has taken over the supplying of the Gaussmeter and related equipment and is now owner the trademark DRUSCH.

While the look has only been changed slightly , the equipment has been considerably improved through the replacement of all its essential components by most advanced parts.
